We are  at a unique point in time. The Covid-19 pandemic has overwhelmed many institutions, decimated economies and deepened inequalities across societies. Globally we have seen business and education as usual become unusual, and grind to a halt. As people emerge from their homes and back into society we find ourselves at an inflection point, where we are committed to not rebuild the systems and institutions that were designed for the old industrial era - but instead 

seize this opportunity to reengineer the educational system to enable citizens to co-create resilient and thriving sustainable communities. Making A Difference Today for Tomorrow.

Together with MAD people across sectors, industries and continents we are co-creating

a movement for Challenge Driven, Mission Fueled and Crowd Sourced education. A MAD Curriculum that is based on the distilled insights from the MAD Community, designed to cultivate the capacity to not just survive, but thrive - living and leading in times of change. Guiding Principles, provoking questions, and organic models - instead of static answers and pre-determined outcomes. 

 

We envision Education as a library of knowledge of the learning process itself, as well as the ground breaking tools, approaches, and solutions for the biggest societal challenges of our time. A library that instead of hard bookshelves is a thriving community and constantly evolving transdisciplinary and diverse narrative. A narrative that is not defined by the elite, but rather by the masses. The overlooked Pioneers who have been called mad. Mad because they refuse to settle with the status quo. These, the MAD change makers, are the ones who are mad enough to think they can change the world. And thus we believe they will.

Since we can't afford to do anything as an academic exercise (it's simply too much of a waste of two of the most important resources we have: Time and the curious human brain power) - we are committed to take the insights from these days forward in at least two ways: 

 

1. Apply it directly into the development of the MAD Curriculum 

2. Use it to mobilize resources to further the education movement

Since impact is multiplied by diversity we are not looking to own or do this by ourselves, but instead put our hypothesis about abundant education business models to the test, and explore win-win-win set-ups together with those who share our passion in reshaping the learning system.
