Atelier
ArtéM

ArtéM is a creative practice and studio shaped by years of working, traveling, and designing across contrasting worlds — from extreme environments and maker spaces to city streets and pop-up exhibitions. Each piece reflects that journey: a fusion of historic studies, emerging futures, experiential design, rhythm, architecture, and human touch.
The art unfolds through process — brushstroke and breath, pigment and pause, memory and motion. Within this rhythm of stillness and movement, ArtéM explores the threshold between reflection and becoming. On the canvas, time folds. Earthy pigments ground the work in tactility and truth, while vibrant tones invite play and renewal. Each piece moves between calm and passion — balancing intention and surrender, intimacy and expansion. These are artefacts of memory and emergence. A study in what it means to be alive.

the Atelier
Where process becomes presence.
The world of ArtéM unfolds between two studios — one poised above an old theatre in Stockholm, the other hidden within the narrow streets of Barcelona. In the north, light stretches long across the theatre roof, carrying the clarity and calm of Scandinavian heritage. In the south, colour and rhythm drift through open windows, steeped in Mediterranean warmth and motion. Between them, the practice finds its pulse — a dialogue between silence and sound, intention and surrender.

Each piece emerges as an artefact of lived process. Acrylics and oil crayons form the base rhythm — intuitive, responsive. Leftover wall paint, spackle, and the raw weave of canvas bring texture and truth, grounding the work in the physicality of time and place. And then, the quiet rituals: a brush dipped in coffee, a smudge of pigment from another day — reminders that art, like life, is never made from purity alone.
The materials are chosen not for effect, but for honesty — how they age, how they breathe, how they carry memory. Layers are added, erased, and rebuilt until the surface resonates — between earth and air, body and mind, memory and imagination.
In the end, the Atelier is both space and state of mind — a rhythm that lives between Stockholm’s stillness and Barcelona’s heat. It is where ArtéM takes form: grounded, evolving, alive.

ABOUT THE SERIES
edges of Presence
[MAPPING the emotional terrains of closeness and connection]
Between the inner and the shared, these works trace the emotional landscapes that exist between bodies, memories, and breath.
Each stroke becomes a cartography of feeling — mapping trust, warmth, and the magnetic pull between solitude and togetherness.

ABOUT THE ART
WALKING HOME
Twilight tones ripple across the canvas like the last exhale of the every day. Hints of violet, dusty terracotta, and muted gold recall the road back to self as much as to emeging moments and chapters of life.
It’s a painting about returning to self to dare whats next. The quiet pulse that remains after motion - when the body remembers where it belongs. Each layer carries the scent of evening air and the hush between footfalls; a calm adventure that is earned, not given.

"Embrace"
ABOUT THE ART
EMBRACE.
Pigments melt into each other like body heat in fading light — soft ochres, quiet whites, gestures of surrender and breath. Time slows; the air thickens. The painting becomes a space to drop your shoulders, to exhale.
A portrait of warmth without figure — of being seen, safe, and momentarily timeless. Stand before it and you feel your own pulse slow, as if the painting were breathing back at you, reminding you of the simple miracle of being held.

ABOUT THE SERIES
between moments
[STUDIES OF the invisible field where movement becomes language]
Movement as intimacy. Breath as dialogue.
These works inhabit the invisible field between figures — the rhythm of approach, co-existance, and trust. They speak of that magnetic current that flows when presence meets presence, when stillness itself starts to dance.

ABOUT THE ART
BENEATH BREATH.
A painting of trust — of grounding before rising.
It marks pulse like slowed heartbeats, layered in soft graphite lines and pigment scrawls that feel half dream, half instinct. The air is still — an exhale, a waiting — the moment before motion begins again.

"rising Whisper"
ABOUT THE ART
RISING WHISPER.
Where Beneath Breath slows down, Rising Whisper moves. It rises through vertical tension — color vibrating like energy released from stillness. The gestures are assertive yet tender, echoing the space between hesitation and freedom — the body’s way of saying yes.
Each brushstroke feels like a pulse finding its rhythm, a reminder that rising is never abrupt but a sequence of small assurances building.

ABOUT THE SERIES
lines of Existance
[TRACING the pulse of memory and becoming]
Every line a lifetime, every brushstroke a breath, step and touch.
These works trace time’s elasticity — collapsing moments, unfolding layers, the architecture of memory revealed in motion.

ABOUT THE ART
GLIMPSES IN TIME.
An archaeological exploration through layers of existence - moments that left imprint in time.
Delicate, deliberate, introspective. Lines blur, boundaries soften, the painting feels like a whispered confession.
Look closer and you’ll see remnants of earlier gestures, as if the canvas remembers what once was.

"Depth"
ABOUT THE ART
DEPTH.
The vertical composition follows time down into the depth - like a pulse descending through existance. Fluidity and infinity of the presence melting together. The persistence of exploration finding pathways.
The strokes feel intentional yet inevitable, like a deep breath. It’s a painting about surrender — how we keep becoming even in the midst of stillness.

ABOUT THE SERIES
opposites Attract
[EXPLORING the pulse where opposites meet and dissolve]
Every force holds its counterpart: light and shadow, softness and solidity, movement and pause.
These works explore the exquisite balance born when opposing energies meet — not to cancel each other, but to convein.
Tension here is not friction, but pulse; contrast becomes the very mechanism through which beauty and liberation emerges.

ABOUT THE ART
COEXISTANCE.
The composition vibrates with polarity — energy and calm, boldness and grace.
Yet in their meeting, a third quality arises: resonance.
This is not conflict; it’s coexistence.
Pigments lean into one another like opposites learning to dance — cool tones lifted by warmth, edges softened by surrender.

ABOUT THE SERIES
primal
moments
[STUDIES OF the body’s memory — intuition before thought]
Instinct as a higher intellect.
If ancient caves hosted raves, they might look like this — spontaneous joy caught in pigment, the body remembering what it means to move.
Marks collide and dissolve like music without measure. The works capture motion as language — raw, radiant, unedited. They remind us that rhythm is the oldest form of thinking.

ABOUT THE ART
DANCING BEFORE FIRE.
Rhythmic gestures surge across grounded tones.
Sweeps of ochre, indigo and charcoal move like soundwaves, echoing heartbeat and drum. The surface is raw immediacy; nothing is revised, only revealed.
To stand before it is to feel energy reclaim its body — that moment when restraint dissolves and motion becomes its own logic. It’s the pulse of celebration, the body’s first language made visible.

"Dinner after dancing"
ABOUT THE ART
DINNER AFTER DANCING.
Energy amplified — a celebration of presence, play, and laughter. Pigments loosen; structure softens; warmth floods the space between marks. Here, movement slows into intimacy — conversation replacing rhythm, glow replacing flame.
It’s the echo after euphoria, the quiet satisfaction of bodies at rest, still radiant from motion. A painting about communion — the way joy settles into tenderness once the music fades.

ABOUT THE SERIES
colors of Nightfall
[TRACING the quiet electricity between dusk and dreaming]
When day dissolves, colour takes over.
These works dwell in that brief, trembling hour between what has been and what will be — when light is still warm, yet shadows begin to grow.
Here, movement slows but doesn’t stop; it transforms.
Each painting holds that suspended breath before night fully arrives — the air thick with memory, the world turning inward.

ABOUT THE ART
WHEN DAY DISSOLVES
A burst of twilight energy. Indigo, sienna, and muted rose swirl like breath meeting rhythm — neither sky nor ground, but the vibration between. The brushstrokes feel musical: layered tempo, soft percussion, pulse after pulse.
You can sense the body of the day stretching before sleep, still alive, still glowing. It’s not a landscape, but a feeling — the hush of motion continuing under the surface, the calm that still moves.

"unfolding"
ABOUT THE ART
UNFOLDING
Where When Day Dissolves vibrates, Unfolding Night exhales deeper. Soft graphite lines drift over washes of deep blue and clay — an atmosphere more than a scene.
Stillness expands here: it’s the fullness of pause, of unspoken stories ufolding in the dark.
There’s a quiet sensuality to its layering, a reminder that calm can carry voltage. The painting doesn’t close the day; it opens the night — a door into softness, a sky turned inward.

ABOUT THE SERIES
coffein dreams
[A HYMN to liberation and creative surrender]
Born in the haze between rebelliousness, surrender and flow, these works blur control and chaos — turning caffeine’s absence into liberation. Paint, oil crayon, wall pigment, even splashes of coffee itself merge into the surface, forming a raw diary of persistence.
Caffeine Dreams is not about energy; it’s about the alchemy of surrender — when you stop trying to be perfect, life and art start moving to its own beat.

ABOUT THE ART
A NO COFFE MORNING
A visual fog. The canvas hums with muted browns, off-whites, and rough gestures — restless, half-awake.
There’s honesty in its imperfection: the body reaching for rhythm before reason.
The moment when surrender replaces control — when art begins to breathe on its own. Traces of real coffee stain the surface, grounding the piece in the everyday miracle of showing up. It’s both confession and celebration. There’s a tenderness in its honesty. Fatigue made visible, vulnerability turned luminous.

ABOUT THE ART
LIBERATION THROUGH MESS
Pigments burst in layered movement — a joyous rebellion against precision. Traces of spackle and cardboard texture the surface, fragments of past works reborn. It’s painting as pulse: Chaos as confession, movement as release.
You can feel the music of the studio in it — the laughter, the clatter, the permission to be imperfect, vibrantly alive.

ABOUT THE ART
MID DAY CLARITY
When the storm of making quiets, this work settles into luminous calm. Soft hues meet intentional marks — balance returning after the haze.
It feels like that first sip of coffee, not in taste but in relief. A reminder that clarity isn’t the opposite of chaos, but its natural evolution. A work that teaches us to rest inside motion, to find peace not after effort, but in it.

ABOUT THE SERIES
hidden
worlds
[EXPLORING edges and thresholds between secrecy and revelation]
Hidden Worlds moves in the space between exposure and intimacy.
It speaks to the choice of what we show, what we hold, and how vulnerability becomes its own form of mastery. Each piece is an excavation of the self — pigment and time pressed into emotion.
Cracks act as maps, stitches as stories, revealing the beauty of persistence and transformation.
These paintings live in the pause before disclosure, in the courage between. They turn cracks into constellations, layers into portals. Stitches aren't merely repairs, but bridges to the next horizon.

ABOUT THE ART
BEAUTY
Dark, velvety layers hold and reveal in alternating rhythm — pulse beneath a soft sheen of light. This is not a painting of damage, but of decision — where pain becomes portals and passage.
Each layer speaks in a different register — defiance, tenderness, persistence — and together they sing of resilience, rebellion, and the strange elegance of survival.

ABOUT THE ART
BRIDGES
Soft blushes of rose and bronze drift through pale ash and linen, glowing like dusk mirrored on still water. The transformation is both quiet and alive — layers in conversation with itself, negotiating what to hold, what to release.
You can sense evolution in motion: mending that doesn’t erase but integrates, cracks that connect instead of divide. Every mark is both memory and momentum, each shimmer a glimpse of bravery mid-flight.
It’s a painting about choice — about revealing yourself one layer at a time, not from necessity, but from freedom. In its calm luminosity lies a quiet manifesto: that wholeness is not seamless, it’s built of bridges.

ABOUT THE SERIES - PRELUDE
before and After
[EXPLORING the space where restraint becomes rhythm]
Creation always begins in tension — the quiet vibration between what is known and what wants to be discovered.
Before & After lives in that charged space, tracing the body’s arc from composure to release, from thought to pulse. These works are less about contrast than continuation — the inhale and exhale of making. Structure softening into rhythm.
You can feel the discipline of the studio meeting the electricity of instinct; the precise hand giving way to the intuitive body. They are studies of becoming through motion — the ecstatic edge where stillness finally begins to move.

ABOUT THE ART
BEFORE
A study in composure — muted tones balanced with intention, each mark placed as though listening for its next echo. There is calm here, but also undercurrent; stillness edged with anticipation. The surface reads like the inhale before a leap — everything contained, everything trembling.
Traces of graphite, smudges of pigment, soft interruptions of line: evidence of control meeting curiosity. A hint at restlessness, a readiness to unravel. It’s a work about preparation, about the art of readiness — and about the beauty of not yet knowing. A whisper of what comes next.

ABOUT THE ART
AFTER
If Before breathes in, After exhales.
Here, the brushwork loosens, colour spreads, boundaries dissolve into gesture.
What was once composed now dances — a symphony of surrender. Layers collide and merge, every motion is an act of release, every blur an emergence.
It’s the liberation of the process made visible — the point where intention becomes intuition. The quiet revelation that to let go is to meet creation where it truly lives.

ABOUT THE SERIES - PRELUDE
objects of Becoming
[STUDIES OF symbolic artefacts that anchor memory & imagination]
Within the creative process, there are moments of pause — small, tactile explorations that allow intuition to breathe before it expands onto larger canvases. These are studies, but not in the academic sense. They are preludes: intimate rehearsals of touch, texture, emotion, and curiosity.
Each one explores the essence of a gesture, a sensation, a spark — the way colour, material, and memory converse before they commit to scale. In sharing them, a rare window opens into the genesis of creation — those private intersections where play meets precision, and impulse begins to find form.
Here, lipstick becomes language, wine becomes memory — everyday artefacts elevated into symbols of becoming. They are fragments of the larger world of Artém, yet complete in their own right: small-scale universes where life, beauty, and longing converge.

ABOUT THE ART
LIPSTICK
Painted with one of the artist’s own lipsticks and blends of nail polish, applied to underlaying layers of paint and rich oil crayons gives the surface its traces of touch, warmth, and immediacy; Colour as skin, as invitation, as moment.
It’s a study in transformation: pigment shifting from adornment to expression, from body to canvas. The marks are playful yet deliberate — a study of becoming. A reminder that art, like identity, is something we continue to explore and create.

ABOUT THE ART
WINE
Deep burgundy and translucent plum tones move like scent and memory — the chromatic echo of a glass lifted, a conversation lingering.
You can almost taste the colour, feel its resonance and warmth - sip futures dreamt, but not yet poured.
Small brushstrokes shimmer like fragments of candlelight, suggesting intimacy, continuity, and the pleasure of anticipation. It’s an artefact of connection — a toast to everything still unfolding.

ABOUT THE SERIES
adventure awaits
[EXPLORING the instant of transformation — the quiet electricity of change]
There is a moment — brief, trembling, infinite — when you realise you’re about to cross into something new. The air shifts, the body knows before the mind does.
Thresholds of Becoming captures that fragile, electric stillness: the instant before a step forward, the heartbeat that bridges past and possibility. Each work holds the sensation of standing at the edge of transformation — looking out at a horizon that is both within and beyond. Light hums against shadow; movement gathers in the quiet.
They ask what it means to step through — to expand into the next version of oneself. In each surface, you can feel the vibration of potential, the quiet electricity of a world just about to unfold.

ABOUT THE ART
GATEWAY
Darkness folds on either side of an expanding corridor of light — a passage carved through hesitation by deep curiostiy. The urge to explore what is truly possible.
The composition feels both intimate and immense, as if space itself were just about to release its breath.
You can sense the tension between safety and expansion: the ache of what must be left behind, the pull of what’s waiting ahead.
The pigments shift like memory meeting future — restrained yet trembling with potential. This is a painting about thresholds in their truest form: that exquisite discomfort of readiness. Stand before it, and you might recognise that same pulse in yourself — the courage it takes not to know, and to move anyway.

ABOUT THE ART
EXPANDING HORIZONS
Light begins to widen. Bands of gold and earth stretch outward, forming a land between them.
The darkness no longer closes in; it frames the light, a reminder of where the journey started. Each mark is a quiet declaration: of softening into expansion, of courage gathering beneath calm.
There’s a pulse of anticipation here — the thrill of a first step taken into new air, the awareness that every horizon is both discovery and reflection.
It’s a painting of emergence and adventure — of looking out and realising that the landscape unfolding before you is also unfolding within you. This is where the journey begins, where becoming turns outward and the world opens wider with every step.
